Belly dance, as a very own feminine dance, has accompanied me almost all my life. Time and again I have been allowed to make new experiences of consciousness through this dance and have been guided to new forms of expression of myself or of spirituality. One of these possibilities, I would like to pass on to you as belly dance as a movement meditation. Christmas 2020, Musubi has guided me with these belly dance choreographies as consciousness creations to change the world to the weiblichen Spirituellen System (female Spiritual System).
What makes a belly dance choreography a movement meditation? Important is the inner attitude as a connection with ourselves, the others respectively the community and the universal Whole.
The connection with ourselves already results from the dance posture, in that we are connected with the sky and the earth. This corresponds to the Kundalini, the vertical spiritual power within us. In addition, the seven main chakras are also arranged accordingly, which we activate through our isolation movements in belly dance. In this respect, belly dance is so spiritual from the outset that I chose it as a movement meditation. The choreography provides an orienting framework, in which you can experience yourself.
Community, connectedness with others, is also expressed in the posture, in that the basic posture of the arms is to the side. This corresponds to the dragon power. The dragon power is the horizontal spiritual power within us. In belly dance as movement meditation, through this, the positive feeling of deep connection carries us.
Finally, the connection with the Whole comes from the music. Belly dance is embedded in the music. In addition, from the Whole, I also offer a worldwide belly dance community project.
Belly dance as a Movement Meditation supports especially the second section of the complete spiritual path as I explain it in the book “The complete spiritual path“.
